Who are the Mobility Shop?

The family-run Mobility Shop has been selling disability and mobility aids since 1994. We started selling from our small shop in south Devon and today have expanded to selling a wider range of mobility and disability aids both online as well as from our shops in Kingskerswell near Newton Abbot in Devon. The Mobility Shop is also listed in the Trading Standards Institute (TSI) Consumer Codes Approval Scheme. This means the Mobility Shop provides good standards of service with clear information before a contract is signed and we have a clear complaints procedure.

What are Mobility Shop’s delivery charges?

Mainland UK Delivery Prices
All products are free of a delivery charge for addresses in mainland UK excluding Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly and the Channel Islands, however if the order is less than £35, a £3.99 delivery charge will be added.

All products are sent using first class mail or via 24 hour courier delivery by APC Overnight or Interlink Express, products ordered by 1pm and are in stock will be dispatched the same day for next working day delivery, but please allow 2 working days as deliveries are dependant upon the couriers.

Orders taken before 1PM on Friday will be dispatched same day for delivery on Monday. Orders taken over the weekend will be dispatched on the following Monday.

Please note that delivery of wheelchairs (other than Esteem wheelchairs ) from other wheelchair manufacturers can take between 3 to 4 days depending on availability, please call to confirm.

Other NON-UK Postcode Deliveries
Any items delivered outside of mainland UK will be dispatched via a 48 hour service, delivery charges will vary depending on the destination.

What happens if I have a complaint?

We are committed to providing a high-quality legal service to all our clients. When something goes wrong, we need you to tell us about it. This will help us to improve our standards. If you have a complaint, please contact us with the details. We have eight weeks to consider your complaint. If we have not resolved it within this time you may complain to the Legal Ombudsman.
