Karma Mobility has a history of building recliner wheelchairs and this experience gives them extensive knowledge of designing and building very fine functional reclining wheelchairs. The MVP-502 model is an example of this and its design has been evolving for 10 years.
Some very innovative features on the MVP-502 set it apart from its direct rivals. A very key feature is the unique seating system. This not only increases the comfort of the seat in the reclined position, but supports and keeps the user in the right position that is crucial for both comfort and safety. The arm rest system is ingenious and moves the positioning of the arm rest as the wheelchair reclines, lowering it so as to provide maximum support and comfort being the right height for the user. This process is reversed as the wheelchair backrest is moved back up.

A useful push bar is fitted between the attendant’s push handles. This unique push bar also has the benefit of enhancing the overall rigidity making a very stable wheelchair.
Features on the MVP-502 include tension adjustable seating, adjustable calf pads, ergonomic headrest and elevating leg rests. It is also small and compact when folded.
The MVP-502 represents a very good value reclining wheelchair.
