The Glide About Wheelchair is especially suited to moving patients in and out of wards and ambulances. It has a robust steel frame and is suitable for users up to 120 Kgs or 19 stones in weight. When in use the rear wheels and tippers are used to effortlessly glide the patient to and from destinations.
This Glide About Wheelchair has two solid rear wheels that are 6" in diameter. The wheelchair is also designed to park patients for short periods using its front rests. For short journeys there is a safety lap belt for the patient to use.
When not in use, the wheelchair folds down to 15" deep and just 46" in length. The overall weight of the Glide About Ambulance Chair is 9Kgs due to its strong plastic coated steel frame so it can be easily lifted in and out of vehicles or when storing.
